Jan. 10th, 2022 – In this week’s episode, the ladies are back with a fun & thoughtful episode about helping our kids when they face hard times with friends or schoolmates. They first kick off the episode with their usual mom chatter – talking 911 and some of the dramas people faced in olden times. Sarah and Lauren’s lives always intertwine with elements of motherhood and parenting and this episode shows it well. Sarah shares a recent story of an experience her 3rd grade daughter had with a mean-spirited note. That leads to a discussion on bullying and really how we can help our kids navigate those tricky waters of childhood. They share what bullying can look like, how to raise a child to handle it and give tips to help prevent it in your home. They lightly graze the subject of cyber bullying, when to intervene and how to see signs from our children. A light, but helpful conversation between two moms to help us all remember how overwhelming growing up can be. They then share their hits and misses of the week, which includes a brief conversation of Omicron and Sarah’s morning disaster! Thank you for being here mama!
