Hey mama, thanks for stopping by!  We’re excited to announce a new Mom Voice series titled “MOMCAST News to Know”.  You may have seen MOMCAST on social media, created by Emmy-award winning newscaster and mom of four, Emma Jade.  We have now combined forces to create a series that will be your go-to news source when you need the headlines without all of the commentary.  As moms, we know how overwhelming things can feel when you’re balancing the weight of home, kids and so many other things – it can be hard finding the time to tune-in to what’s happening.  And with the world changing faster than ever, we thought this would be perfect collaboration for fellow mamas to stay informed.  Anchored by MOMCAST’s Emma Jade, listeners will hear well-researched stories and headlines that they may ‘need to know’ (with the Mom Voice flavor that listeners expect).

On another note – we fully recognize how divisive news has become as of late, especially in regards to political preferences. That’s why we’re committed to delivering the news without a political undertone.  You can expect to hear straightforward headlines and some honest mom-convos without any underlying agenda.  We want every single mom listening to feel safe and welcomed – like they’re sitting down with 3 trusted friends. Emma Jade is a 7-time Emmy Award winning news anchor with over a decade in the industry.
She began her career in the city that never sleeps, New York, as an associate producer at ABC News’ Primetime.  From there, she flew across the globe with NBC Universal to cover the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games, later earning her first Emmy Award for the coverage.

From Beijing to Idaho, Emma began working as an anchor and reporter at KIFI, the ABC affiliate in Idaho Falls.  In 2010, she was asked to join the NBC team again for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. After two years of freezing temperatures in Idaho Falls, she married the love of her life and moved to Phoenix to join NBC’s 12 News.

At 12 News, Emma covered the London and Sochi Olympic Games, three consecutive Golden Globe Awards, The Voice red carpet, and took on a special project as a behind-the-scenes reporter at The Today Show.

In 2019, Emma decided to step back from her main anchor position at 12 News to spend more time with her four children!  She created her own daily newscast from home for busy moms called Momcast.  You can catch her on all social media platforms and on NBC 12 News as a contributing anchor for Today in AZ.

Emma is a friend to the show and has been featured in previous episodes of The Mom Voice.  She’s a great addition to our space here and we’re excited for the value she’s going to bring the audience.
